The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Today I was in a painting block and needed to loosen up my style so I got the trusty old palette knife out. Neighbors Wisteria still had good color and it being abright sunny fall day I wanted to capture the color in a painting.
